Andrea M.   aesthetician, reiki

I graduated from Clarence Senior High school in 2001.  After graduation I went to Leon’s Studio One and graduated with my Cosmetology license.  I went on to the University at Buffalo where I obtained my Bachelor’s in mental health.  I am also certified in Reiki, Quantum touch, aroma therapy and crystal rejuvenation.

My favorite spa service is the 90 minute Ultimate Facial and my favorite product is the 7 herb mask, I love how it exfoliates my skin and the minty sensation on my skin & nose!

I love shopping, walking my 3 year old rescue doberman (and best friend) Finely.  Going out with new friends and finding new places, or any place that serves martini’s.  I love hanging out downtown by the waterfront.

Anna   aesthetician

I was born and raised, and currently reside in Kenmore. I graduated from The Salon Professional Academy’s Esthetics program at the top of my class. My specialties include eyebrow artistry, full body waxing , relaxation facials, and organic skincare. I have also studied and obtained Master Reiki certification.

I am very passionate about making each guest look and feel great by creating that perfect eyebrow shape for your own unique features. I love to educate guests about skincare and how to obtain a radiant complexion. If you hope to escape the daily stress of life, allow me to provide a relaxing facial that will melt away your worries. Whatever your need may be, it is truly my honor to be your aesthetician!  Nothing is better then a relaxing organic facial.  My favorite product I recommend to all my waxing guests is Flawless Ingrown hair serum.  Your skin truly does feel flawless!

At home, I am married and have been blessed with three little boys, the youngest are twins.. I enjoy cooking and spending quality time with my family. I also enjoy writing, painting, reading and spending my summers outdoors camping with family and friends.

Ashley   receptionist

I love working at theWAXINGstudio & spa.  I am keeping myself busy going to college full time at the University at Buffalo.  I am receiving my BA in music and minor in computer science.  I anticipate graduating May 2013, and will be pursuing my PhD in Music Composition.  One of my favorite parts of my job is getting routine massages by our licensed massage therapists.  Massages are the easiest way to cure a headache!

When I am not at work or at school I am enjoying the great outdoors with my cute husband Jon and hanging out at home with my kittens Momo & Bailey.  I also have a slight obsession with shoes.

Dana   L.M.T.

I graduated from the New York Institute of Massage in 2008  I am also certified in “Ashiatsu” Oriental Bar Therapy, and Certified in Precision Neuro Muscular Therapy for Neck & Spine.  I am currently attending University at Buffalo for my Bachelors in Exercise Science and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  I’m pretty adventurous outside of work and school.  You can find me playing soccer, snowboarding, hiking and doing the Roller Derby with the Devil Dollies.

My favorite place in Buffalo is hanging out at Delaware Park and hiking Niagara Falls.  When I’m at work my favorite spa service is the 90 Minute Massage and I love the Sour Cherry Gel Mask when I am receiving an organic facial!

Danial   L.M.T., manager

Hello, My name is Danial. I am proud to be one of the massage therapists here at theWAXINGstudio & spa. I have been part of theWAXINGstudio & spa family since October of 2008. I completed my education at The New York Institute of Massage and I specialize in Maternity, Swedish & Deep Tissue modalities.  As of August 2011, I have also become the Spa Manager.  I have been helping facilitate the growth & expansion our business has nurtured over the past 5 years.

I take great pride in serving the WNY area as I grew up in Colden and attended Springville High School, and then Alfred State College.  I now reside in the Elmwood village with my beautiful wife Angela, and our two dogs Olive and Lennox (aka Mr. Beans). We love taking advantage of everything Elmwood and the waterfront has to offer. We are outdoor enthusiasts, spending as much time hiking, biking, and in the water as WNY allows.

My favorite spa service is definitely the 90 minute massage, and I look forward to providing you the best spa services available in the area!

Jacky  receptionist

Namaste!  I am Jacky.  I love my part time job at theWAXINGstudio & spa.  Besides the great perks of massages & facials, I really like the great people that walk in and out of the spa.  I grew up in Williamsville and graduated from Williamsville South High School in 2003.  I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a  B.S. Anthropology Concentration in Archaeology and a minor in Native American Studies.  I then went on to the Kripalu School of Yoga in Massachesets and became a registered Yoga Teacher.  I work as a free lance yoga instructor throughout Buffalo and also do custom Batik clothing.

I have two cute kitties, and am married to my husband Cory.  I love to practice yoga, craft, cook, and go on bike rides.  We love hanging out at Glen Falls in Buffalo, but our true passion is taking out our VW busses and go to see live music & shows!

My favorite spa service in the Luxury facial, and my favorite product is the Nettle Exfoliating wash!

Jenna  aesthetician, receptionist

My my name is Jenna.  I graduated from Williamsville East High school in 2007 and from the New York Institute of Esthetics in 2011.  I grew up in the spa business as my mother has worked in local salons as a Nail Technition.  I have always been meticulous about my own eyebrows, always handling their shape to the professionals!   Working at theWAXINGstudio & spa is my dream job!  I love the organic facials we offer as well as the massages.

My favorite product I have been using is the stone crop moisturizer.  It has been helping turn my skin into a smooth complexion.

I love going to concerts and traveling.  I have a passion for food and cooking and I love nothing more then spending time with my awesome family and incredible friends.

Julie   aesthetician, M.T.

I graduated from Williamsville South High School in 1997, and attended Canisius College and received my aesthetics License from the Continental School of Beauty in 200X,   The Salon Professional Academy for Nail Technology in 200X.  and The New York Institute of Massage for Massage Therapy in 2012.  I have further educated myself with numerous industry trade shows in Toronto, and now specialize in European facials, eyebrows artistry and full body waxing.

My favorite ilike treatment to give and receive has to be the AHA fruit Peel with Paprika Gel treatment, and I am in love with Blinc’s Eyebrow Mousse in dark blonde.

I am a avid runner and fitness enthusiast and I am a clean eating foodie!  After marrying my husband, Scott, in 2003, we have opened our home to 4 cats, including 1 feral cat.  White not at work you will probably find me in the produce section at Lexington Co-op or at All Creates Animal Hospital bringing in feral cats to be spayed and neutered.

Hi!  I’m Julie!  I graduated from Williamsville North in 1999.  I went on to pursue my BA, then Masters in Elementary Education.  I currently work at Cheektowagga Central as a teachers aid.   I love to shop and be with my friends and family.  I am always up for a new restaurant and to try out something new.  I love Buffalo!

I love working at theWAXINGstudio & spa because of all of my incredible Organic Facial treatments and soothing massages.  I love being pampered here!  The products that I would recommend to anyone are the stonecrop toner and stonecrop moisturizer.  I love how my skin looks and feels.

Lori Ann   aesthetician

I have an esthetic degree from Continental School and have been a skin care specialist for over 10 years. My work experience includes L’Oreal Cosmetics, Monte’il Cosmetics and The Framed Brow Waxing Studio. My specialities are European facials, advanced body waxing and eyebrow artistry techniques.

My mission is to inform my clientele and make them feel at ease with my professionalism to meet all their expectations.

My favorite spa service is my relaxing organic facials and eyebrows.

My favorite products are the Rose Petal Cleanser (for dry skin)  I LOVE IT.  And for Dehydrated or tired skin I highly recommend the Pumpkin Orange Mask

I love to ski in the winter and enjoy cooking and wine (a great riesling never hurt anyone!).  My favorite TV show is watching anything on the Food Network.  I am proud to call WNY my home and have been married to my wonderful husband for 15 years.  I love walking around the Buffalo Zoo and spending time at Hoyt Lake.  When I’m not out and about you can find me at home with my husband Sam and my pet cat Skunky. He’s been with me for 17 years and I have a wonderful stepdaughter Victoria.

Schylar  aesthetican, L.M.T.

I was raised and currently reside in Clarence, NY. After graduating from Clarence Senior High School, I attended The New York Institute of Massage and graduated in 2005.  And in 2007 I gradated from Boce’s with my esthetician license.  I have received continuing education on many massage modalities including: chakra therapy, myofacial release and maternity massage.  I love the ilike Ultimate Facial, and I swear our by Whish correcting gel.  It does wonders on my face as a moisturizer!  Nothing makes me happier than to see a guest leave with total piece of mind and full body relaxation. I come from a very close-knit family of four sisters and one brother. I have been married for three years and have a beautiful little girl, Niko, along with two very loving golden retrievers, Bella & Badger.  When I am not at work you can find me spending time with my family and friends.  I love hanging out at Crazy Jakes and The Clarence Center Coffee House.
